State Capitol carry question

I am going to the State Capitol for the Tax Cut rally on Saturday. Can I carry without any issues?

As long as your name is on the list with the Capitol Police. If not I believe you have to send a registered letter to have your name added.

And it can take a few weeks from the time you send the letter and your name makes it onto the list. Somehow my name had been omitted, when it was verified on the list several years ago. I resent a letter, 2 weeks after they had signed for the letter, my name was still not on the list. I waited a few more weeks, actually forgot about it, then checked and my name is now again on the Capital list of permit holders.

So it is probably best to guess a month to be safe from the time you send until it makes it on the list, not enough time for the tax rally.

I sent my notification last year the week of the tax cut rally and I requested that a person from Capitol Security call me to confirm that they recieved my letter.

I was called the Friday before.
