I suggest killing it WITH FIRE!

:angryvillagers:

So rather than just being chased by a zombie, you are now being chased by one in that's engulfed in flames? No thanks.

BOOM HEADSHOT!!!!!!!

or being chased by flames AND zombies! they'd set everything around you ablaze.
i think i'll have a baseball bat close by if/when it happens. i've already got a few laying around with little desire to swing them at baseballs or softballs, mainly Zombie Balls!

But fire is so much more fun.
Just have to do it from a ways away... that's where a crossbow comes in handy. :D

I believe its the amount, and not the power of ammunition. :gun:

Head shot of course!

I always thought of a Ruger 10/22 would be a great zombie gun when your up in a tree or on a roof to have lots of ammo and do good head shots. Running then it would be the 12 gauge.

Kill the head, the body dies.

I see I have ALOT to learn before the Zombie Apoch happens!!!

Do they have classes on this, or maybe get togethers (someplace where beer is found) to discuss ZA tactics?

The first place to start is by buying and then memorizing the Zombie Survival Guide.

Then World War Z.

Then buying a variety of survival manuals, civilian and military alike, and learning those.

Stock up on vital supplies, including water purification and non perishable food items. MREs are nice. Get a .22 rimfire, stock up on ammo, learn to build a silencer so that once the zombies come and the police no longer enforce it, you can create one to aid in stealth zombie kills. Get a reliable backup weapon. ZSG recommends a crowbar, machetes are nice too. There's always the ol Louisville Slugger, in a bind.

Also, make sure you have another firearm that works better on the living, to protect you/yours from bandits, thugs and the like.

That's where this guy would start.

I prefer the Evil Dead method of zombie killing. Chainsaws and shotguns.

For a good time introduction to surviving the zombie apocalypse, see Zombieland. Woody is my hero, "Thank God for rednecks!".

I also agree, a couple 22 rifles and a couple 22 pistols... You can carry a lot of ammo and it's available damn near everywhere.

I had a 10/22 and I did not like it, the riffle was nice, but the rotary mag hurt to load! :(
