100% Free High-Resolution Targets

Postby XDM45 on Sat Nov 10, 2012 10:00 am

All,

Here's some downloadable targets in high resolution. The TSR-II targets can be enlarged to just about any size possible since they are SVG, while other ones are already set to a certain size in JPEG format (Zombie Girl, for example). TSR-II /TranStar-II or Transitional Target II, (all the same thing), are used for PTC qualifications. Most targets you buy are the 25 x 38 size, but I like to practice on the 11 x 17 so that when presented with a larger target, it's even easier for me to hit.

For the TSR-II targets (the ones in blue and green), I made 3 sizes available 11 x 17, 12 x 18, and 25 x 38 for your convience, howqever these are SVG, so you can make them as big as you want without fear of pixelation.

Here's thumbnails of the images in the zip archive:

Here's the zip archive to download:

Enjoy!!

Thanks,

Last night I was google-ing Humaniod targets with organs and didn't come up with much....I'm looking for the location of the heart lungs etc...as an overlay on the humanoid shape.

Got anything like that?

I don't have that, BUT I would image that you could easily make it by:

1) Find an SVG file formatted image of the human anatomy at the muscular level. Here is one I found for you which I think will work perfectly:
http://www.clker.com/cliparts/7/c/R/U/F/T/adult-male-body-no-descriptors.svg or http://www.clker.com/cliparts/O/G/Q/e/L/I/body-unlabled.svg

2) Opening the TSR-II SVG in Adobe Photoshop.

3) Using the TSR-II image as the first layer, you could open the human anatomy SVG in Adobe Photoshop as well, then drag the human anatomy SVG over to the TSR-II SVG, thus making the human anatomy SVG a layer on top of it.

4) Resize the human anatomy SVG layer to match the TSR-II SVG layer.

5) Save the document in the native Adobe Photoshop file format so you can edit the layers later if needed.

6) "Save As" a copy called "TSR-II with Human Anatomy" in SVG file format.

7) Relax and enjoy :)

@BemidjiDweller and Thunder71

You're most welcome :)

Try LE Targets, I get from them and like the selection.

Thanks for the image, Photoshop CS 3 won't open the svg file (maybe corel draw will) I copied the image at 72 dpi and pasted it into a psd file....I could print a 13x19 target....but I don't know If I could shoot it at bills. I may find another silhouette to overlay it with...the ones in your zip file didn't synch well.

Thanks.

Photoshop should be able to open it just fine. My old copy of 7.0 does it ok. Maybe copying it like you did would work, but I doubt it. You could use Inkscape to open the SVG files.

I've got a trial of the newest photoshop going, I'll try my hand at making this for you guys and post it when finished.

Edit: I couldn't open it either in CS6.

Here's the anatomical body overlaying the blue TSR-II target, each in it's own layer. Open in Inkscape and adjust the transparency to your liking. The size is 25 x 38, but it's an SVG, so size doesn't matter.

And yet each shows the anatomy being depicted different, Think one shows the lungs comeing upto the point of the chin.
