Lula's have a good rep, then there's a couple other varieties of in-line loaders that also work.

I forget what brand I have, but it holds 20rds and then you pull a lever and stuff them in the mag like a long stripper clip. Cost about $20.

Watching the video's of this one makes me want to try it out.

I like that I can take wolf and hold half the box in the channel and push the rounds out of the holder, then pack them down and repeat for the other half. I loaded up 300 rounds the other night in about 15 minutes without trying.

It did have some manufacturing defects as delivered. I had to take some flash off the lever channel to keep it from wedging in the post-load position (end of stroke). Not a big deal, but kind of annoying until I saw what the problem was. It took whacking the lever with a loaded mag to get it un-stuck. Other than that, it's pretty slick.

The striplula looks like a better portable solution, as the cammenga is larger than a 30rd mag. I do think the cammenga is a faster method unless you're exclusively loading loose rounds.

Striplula is especially awesome if you already store your ammo on stripper clips.

The regular Lula for 223 is nice if you don't use stripper clips.

I only like the 20 round mags for this very reason.

I have a strip lula for Mini. Works with strippers or loose rounds. Strippers are more convienent. I can easily recommend it.

If you work with stripper clips, why not just use the little metal attachment? I think they sell at gun shows for a buck.

Clip it on the mag, stick the clip in, shove into something hard, repeat. The only time that method isn't awesome is when you have to load a tracer every 5th round. "Never volunteer for anything" unless it might get you out of night drill mag loading detail.
