Bush stole the election in 2000 (remember Jeb Bush and Florida, the state couldn't count), along with loaded Diebold machines, etc. Arms should have been taken up then really, but it wasn't as obvious as this deal in the 40's was.

I wonder how many Americans would take up arms if something really obvious happened, like an army taking over a city or something. I fear that many wouldn't - as long as they could get their mocha vente extra large coffee at Starbucks.

Yup, The Battle of Athens is an awesome story. When ever I run across someone who doesn't think we need to protect ourselves from the government, I show them this. It gets them thinking.

This clip is from "An American Story" by Hallmark Cards. Don Hall started the Hallmark Hall of Fame movies -- usually on Sunday nights. This is one of his better productions. I think when he saw the script, it was a no-brainer for Hallmark to create it. Well done.
