Governor. Why? It's a S&W.

Is this for self defense?

How many would recommend a .410 shotgun for self defense? Now why would you want one in a pistol?

It's S&W. The Governor wins a comparo in every category. Every category except one. The ability to shoot the 3inch .410 shells, if its a Judge Magnum that is. Look at the loads, 3 inch more than doubles the shot weight of the 2 1/2 inch shells, plus it is a lot easier to find. For me, that's the crux, because .410 is the only reason I would put up with that oil tanker long cylinder.

Yes the Governor shoots 45 ACP out of a moon clip. One thing the Judge can't or at least I don't think they can.

You can shoot a 410 or 45 long colt outta the judge. But realistically I'd want more rounds for home defense. There may be more than one.
