Uffdaphil, I'll try to get a better pic up. What you don't see is a FAC american made muzzle brake. FAC was a gun, and parts,(and junk) dealer that went out of business a few years back.The brake counts as one of seven american made parts. It is louder than any rifle I've heard.

I picked this up last night, GSG 1911. Early models had some issues, but most seem to have been worked out. Hopefully heading to the range in the next few days.

That GSG sure looks nice.
Alas , After my GSG mp5 I will not buy another product from GSG. I really liked the MP5! I had a ton of fun for 3000 plus rounds.
Please at some point down the road , Give a review of how the 1911 runs after you have fed it a few thousand rounds.
That 1911 really does look great!
Hope to hear it runs like a champ for you.
