With the scope mounted up so high on top of the carry handle, just exactly where/how do you plant your cheek against the butt stock to squeeze off an accurate shot??
Funny you mention that, I was looking around for a new flat top upper today to bring my optics down. As it sits currently the iron sights are useless.
Even though this setup is kind of odd looking with the optics so high, it's actually not bad comfort wise.
To answer your question of where/how I plant my cheek on the stock, I rest the lower portion of my cheek/chin as opposed to up by the cheek bone. Hope that clarifies it.
edit: I've looked at cheek risers, I may try one of those out but not many are compatible with the AR charging handle.
