Carry question

Postby dunnym1984 on Fri Feb 22, 2013 8:22 pm

I'm heading to Wisconsin tomorrow for a family thing. I'm wondering if my mn permit is good in Wisconsin ? I've checked some websites but how they word things on the u.s. permit to carry map is tough to understand. Obviously not looking for any trouble over there...

Thanks

MN permit is good in WI. Make sure you follow WI rules.

If your permit is recognized in Wisconsin, then you can carry in bars. However, you may not consume any alcohol on the premises.

As stated, gun ban signs do have the rule of law in Wisconsin. The signs don't have the same requirements that they have in Minnesota, so make sure you look for one before entering a business.

WI state troopers absolutely love those donations by MN residents. Couple that with their lower speed limit on the interstates (if I recall correctly) and you have to be very careful over there.

The only place I can imagine getting stopped for 4 over (and no extenuating circumstances) would be North Hudson, and ever there, I would think something else would need to raise their ire.

I grew up in North Hudson. I used to be on a first name basis with the 2 cops they had. They were good guys. I haven't lived in Wisconsin for over 30 years.

The present Chief in N. Hudson had taken prickdom to a whole new level. It's disgusting.
