Mills Fleet Farm shooting range

Headed into the Mills Fleet Farm shooting range in Brainerd to pick up some ammo and a safe. Looked up in their entry to see this. Thought it was pretty cool.

Mills Fleet Farm shooting range

Postby Metal Bird on Mon Feb 25, 2013 1:53 pm

I was up there over this last weekend. Nice new store with a lot of goodies. Didn't check out the range there tho. Busy place for sure. But I was able to leave with my limit of 9mm.

They had all the popular calibers in stock last time I was in...about two weeks ago.

I was there yesterday. Good supply of ammo, but 250 round limit on purchase.

When I was in there they limited me to 250 rds per caliber. I left with over 1000 rounds.

We were just up there today.... They had 333 and 525 bricks of 22LR. But I also wanted some 9mm HP'S. They wouldn't let me buy both....

:(

On the plus side.... That store is great! They have lots of good stuff that Fleet Farm doesn't.
Wish it wasn't so far.

Luckily I came with to make sure you used that gift certificate properly. Your welcome!

I already mounted my Mills puchase (EOTech)!

Thanks for coming to visit guys, we appreciate the support! We are pretty proud of the facility and staff, and also live by the words on the walls. We are starting to restrict a little more on ammo in hopes of having something for everyone. Even I have to buy my ammo in compliance with the limits, and the 500 packs of 45 ran out before I could get one. We do our best to put customers first, not staff so we can get the most to you guys.

Please come and visit, if I know someone is stopping by drop me a line. Maybe we could meet, always love meeting MGTers.
Thanks, Dave

I'd love to see the new place, but it's too many hours from Rochester just for a casual visit. I hope if it does well you start putting more gun shop/range at other places. BTW the Huldra rifle runs sweet!

I shoot there a lot. It's a great range...very well run by very helpful and friendly people. My only source of frustration is the inability to do holster work, something that would be universally true of most indoor ranges, I would guess.
