Are you kidding me? The Star Tribune has given up all pretense of journalistic integrity.

Now I understand why the gun grabbers want universal registration and background checks. If those criminals would have been forced to go through a background check instead of just stealing the gun we could have prevented them from terrorizing the neighborhoods.

This is one reason that I refuse to buy this rag any more. In fact I've given up on news sources almost completely. Same BS, different writer.

Because it is obviously the guns fault, but the guns family said it was turning it's life around when it was put into gun jail.

Gladiator for criminals with guns and one round each. :D

Star Tribune Headlines - should be illegal flow, not illegal firearms.
Two young lives are swept away in Minneapolis by a relentless flow of illegal firearms

Well, it makes me glad that i keep my guns nice and warm during the winter, and nice and cool over the summer. I wouldn't want them getting PO'd at me and deciding to off me! Atleast they were nice enough to let me aim them today when we were shooting some tannerite! Fun times! Shot up about 200 dollars worth of exploding targets today and a few peso's of ammo as well! Had alot of fun today since it was finally warm. Shooting the AR's, Mac 10, S&W 1911, Ruger SR22, S&W Governor, and glock 23 today at some targets with friends. And we must have been pretty nice because none of those guns decided to shoot anyone or harm anyone.

His only conviction on record is the crime committed with the referenced firearm. Stricter background checks may not have prevented him from getting a firearm, should he choose to legally.

He has several convictions on his records - moving violations. He also has a Theft-Take/Use/Transfer Movable Prop-No Consent charge. Stricter background checks may not have prevented him from getting a firearm, should he choose to legally.

Now there is someone on this story who should not have a firearm, and who may not be able to get a purchase permit. Lee McLearen - the guy who was cleaning the gun. he has four DWI convictions.
