So the panic occurs, and every yahoo and n00b out there buys an assault rifle or Ruger 10-22, even if they had never thought about owning one before, and of course you have to have ammo for your new toys, so you go nuts on that too. So the whole market has had another bout of Obama flu, exacerbated by the Sandy Hook henorraghic fever, which preferentially infects n00bs and idiots who really weren't really 2A pro-active or aware, so you got a humongous bigazz panic.
So now you're an ammo manufacturer, and you get ABSOLUTELY BURIED by demand for your product. And let's make no mistake about it: You're in a situation where you can increase your prices more than the 8% - 10% that you had already given advance warning of because of the election results, and NOBODY is going to complain!! So you have a chance for absolutely RECORD profits even with modest prices increases, and do you think ANY greedy corporate bigwig with hundreds of thousands of dollars in stock options and profit sharing is going to order production to be slowed down?? Are you EFFEN kidding me?? This is their Golden Moment in the sun when they can literally print money just like an oil company, and they will ride this wave for as long as it lasts. And yes, reports have been heard that places like Bushmaster and DPMS and Federal have orders in hand for two years worth of production, and are running 4 shifts 7 days a week to try and keep up, but all the n00bs and idiots out there are making things worse instead of better, and has anybody noticed how totally futile it is to talk to a n00b about ammo???
So knock it off already!! Get rid of all the ammo posts that are dated and useless 1 hour after they go up, provided they come from a cellphone while at the store. Don't EVEN BOTHER with a post about something you saw while at the store 4 hours ago when you get home!! And for God's sake, would you quit with the whining and sniveling about when is it going to be over; and is it over yet, is it over yet? I swear to God, this place is getting to be like a REAL Daycare Center, and one that caters to spoiled kids whose parent's aren't quite rich enough to just have a live-in nanny. The reality is you're on your own out there, learn to roam around and scavenge for ammo as best you can, and STFU already!! And for God's sake, don't be one of THOSE people who deliberately act and look more pathetic, and hold up a hand lettered cardboard sign in busy places asking for money or info on where the ammo is!!
