Oakdale gun club?

I only live about 10 mins from the OGC and was thinking about signing up to be a member. Any idea on how long of a waiting list there is to get in? I just got a NRA lifetime membership and I am waiting for it to process to get the NRA ID # to join the OGC. I am just looking to get a little info on this place and how it operates before signing up. I have never been to an outdoor range before, it has been Bills or Burnsville indoor ranges for years.

Saturday night is Thunderdome night in the clubhouse; two members enter, one member leaves.

How we make room for new members. ;)

Get your name on the waiting list now. It might be yet this year or next but I'd bet on the year after that. Feel free to pm with any specific questions you have or post them here and I'm sure one of the other members will answer for you.

The waiting list isn't overly long right now. You should go ahead and sign up now... You don't need to show proof of NRA membership until the day you actually become a member.

It's a great club - nice facilities, a lot of good people. I've been a member there for ~4 years and am currently a board member.

Get on the list - your name will get called before you know it.

Its, hands down, the best money I've ever spent. I was out there this morning, and we had the 25 and 100yd ranges all to ourselves for about 2.5 hours.
