MNSBC Crying about lossing gun vote

Postby heavygunner on Thu Apr 18, 2013 4:39 am

Had to laugh this morning just flipping threw the channels and heard msnbc crying about the senate voting down the gun background check bill. According to joe on there who ever he is says this bill not passing we are giving terrorist, rapist, gang members and the worst criminals easy access to gun yet? That anybody can buy a gun online? Last time i checked you had to have said gun purchased online shipped to a FFL. I just thought it was great how pissed they were made my day, just like true liberal when they dont get there way,its like watching a baby having a tantrum. Then crazy ass howard dean chimes in and thats all ill say about that. Win for us so far but that rat dirty harry voted no so that puke can bring bill back to senate floor.

Unfortunately unlike a child throwing a tantrum , The media has huge resources!
Expect even more anti gun stories .
You know they are just waiting for the next tragedy to occur.
So they can have a full media blitz .
I pray they have a eternal wait.

I thought this was just insane

MSNBC: NRA 'in the Business of Helping Bombers Get Away With Their Crimes'

"There are new developments tonight in the bombing investigation here in Boston," said O'Donnell. "But that investigation could be moving faster were it not for the successful lobbying efforts of the National Rifle Association. The NRA's efforts to guarantee that American mass murderers are the best-equipped mass murders in the world is not limited to murderers who use assault weapons and high-capacity magazines. The NRA is also in the business of helping bombers get away with their crimes. Gunpowder could be traced by investigators to a buyer at the point of sale if gunpowder contained a taggant, an element that would enable tracing of the purchase of gunpowder. But thanks to the National Rifle Association, identification taggants are required by law only in plastic explosives. The NRA has successfully blocked any requirements for such taggants in gunpowder. So such supremely helpful evidence as taggants are not available to the FBI in this investigation."

I guess we could just insert taggants (aka some type of tracking chip) in everyone in the USA and then we would know where they are at all times.

Always amusing to see MSNBC sputtering, but we shouldn't get too smug. It could all go very much the other way after the 2014 and 2016 elections. So far, it doesn't appear that republicans are entering those elections from a position of strength.

These anti gun people and media news outlets will do anything they can to try and pin tragedies like these towards guns somehow. It's getting old in a hurry.

Yep, I came home this morning and scanned all 4 national news outlets at 7am (CNN, HLN, FOX, and MSNBC) Everyone BUT MSNBC had the Texas fertilizer plant explosion or the Boston bombing as their first top story. MSNBC whined about the gun bills being shot down for at least 12-15 minutes BEFORE they finally moved on to the Texas or Boston story.

The bleeding heart liberals love to cry. It's kind of their thing.

MSNBS lost all credibility with me during the pump monkey runup to the crash of 2007-2008. "Reporting" economic headlines to drive upstock prices and the constant pumping to get people into stocks was irresponsible and probably criminal. Now they parrot comcast, a truly evil company.

But 90% of Americans supported it. How could it possibly have been shot down?
