Identifying old gun stocks?

Postby sak1782 on Fri Jun 28, 2013 9:43 pm

My mother in law just gave me a bunch of old gun stocks she found in the barn of her house. She has had them for a few years. I cleaned them up, and they are nice pieces, but Im not sure of the make/manufacture/type of rifle.

A few of them look like M1 type stocks, but other than that, I am not really sure.

Anyone know of any resources that could help me identify what these could be?

Pictures? Good resource right here.

I agree with Larry. Posting pictures of them here would likely get all of them identified. Failing that, there are several dealers who go to most local gun shows who would probably be able to identify them. They will generally have similar items for sale at their tables.
