Awesome day at Oakdale

Hey all,

Just wanted to brag about how much fun I had shooting at Oakdale today. A great day to hit the range, and I actually shot pretty well!

Nice, I was out at Oakdale today too, sighting in a new Colt AR. Too bad the 100 yd range is closed.

What did you shoot?

I only had .22's with me today at the 25 yard range. I have never shot at Oakdale before but I really like it. A buddy was with me and he was sighting in an AR as well. Such a great day, just what I needed.

Did you happen to try out the new portable targets we put together on the 25yd?
I'm trying to make it a little more "handgun friendly" out there by being able to shoot closer than 25 yards.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

The rolling targets are much appreciated. I didnt happen to shoot my pistol today but saw a few people using the closer targets. Always good to have flexibility.

All in all, a great experience at Oakdale. So much more enjoyable to shoot outdoors. I'll definitely be back

I didn't use the movable targets, but my buddy that was with me did and they really seemed to work well for him!

I signed up for the waiting list about three months ago. It appears I may be in for a looonnggg wait.

That could be it.

GPS says they're 36 minutes from my house, but the clock has never beat 45. With the current road destruction, it's easily an hour.

Glad you like OGC. I am also a new member this year. I have been there at least twice a week since the end of April. Sunday I was the guy behind the counter in the clubhouse doing some time. I will be there this Sunday working also. Just look for the short balding dude. Wait that's more than half of the members.lol
