Kroil source?

Postby Rip Van Winkle on Sat Aug 03, 2013 7:32 pm

Anyone know of a source for Kroil in the east metro?

I know GS stocks it, or at least use to, but I don't feel like driving to the other end of town.

I use Liquid Wrench instead. Both are penetrating oils and I don't see any difference between the two other than Kroil has a slight red hue and Liquid Wrench is more common. Price can be a toss up though Liquid Wrench tends to be less. I usually stock up when Menards has a sale such as their current 11% off going on now which usually makes it noticeably cheaper.

Hey Mark,
If you want I can pick a can up for you at Perry this week. Just left there and one of the shops had the 8oz cans for I think $9. Let me know if you want one.

Eric,

That would be great if you would. We can settle up when you get home.

Good luck at the Nationals.

Here is another source.

http://www.brownells.com/search/index.h ... &ksubmit=y

Not sure what a "fair" price is.
Shipping on one item can be high.
If one buys several items and has them shipped together, that would decrease the shipping cost per item.

What is "GS"?
Gun store?

Is "Perry" Camp Perry?

GS = Gun Stop in Minnetonka.

Perry = Camp Perry in Ohio where the National Rifle & Pistol Matches are shot.

While I do not care for getting my Kroil in aerosol form, Kano Labs has a great deal Here !
I just spray them into the smaller squeeze bottles I usually work from and let the propellant escape for a few days, or just use it in aerosol form if you prefer. I tend to waste too much when using it from an aerosol can.

You can only do the deal once, as it's some form of introductory effort, but that's like 32 oz for ~$20.00 shipped!

ETA: BTW, it came very quickly in the mail.
