Gunporn please

Postby Belgiboy on Thu Oct 02, 2008 6:07 pm

Come on, all you red blooded people. It has been a while since we've had a thread that induces massive drooling, vacant stares and depleted credit card balances.
I have always wanted a 4" Colt Python. Problem is prices go up faster than my savings account for it. I've taken to sprucing up my 686, it will never be a Python but I've been happy with how it's turned out so far

I picked up the grips at the MWCA-show last week and have been applying many coats of Mothers polish over the last couple of months while watching Twins games.
Show of your beauties. And if you've shown them before on this forum, show them again dammit. Nothing attracts new people like good pics, I know it worked for me.
Times are rough for a lot of folks right now. If anybody has my dreamgun sitting in a safe and is feeling the pinch of the bad times... PM me, I won't lowball you and it's going to go to a good home.

This isn't a very expensive gun and I took the photo myself with an old digital camera, but FWIW:

Mid 80's almost mint Belgian Browning Hi-power. I asked Randy Hengl to do a trigger job on it and he flatout refused because he thought that was a crime against humanity or something. So I took it apart and put Kroil on just about everything and it turned into a very good shooter but I shoot it sparingly.

Here's another shiny wheelgun, my carry gun. That ugly black thing stuck on the frame is the ClipDraw, which is really handy but has since been removed since I got my nice Srigs holster. Maybe should have dusted off a little more of the pants-lint.

Fun! Here's mine:

My completely disassembled Seecamp LWS32. Even the guys over at the Seecamp forum say you should never take it down this far, but I can't imagine why. I love seeing the differences in engineering design. It's one of the reasons I collect.
