Anyone know what happened in Fridley?

When I went to visit the in laws to help my wife get some furniture they got us, I noticed my father in law had his pistol on him which is unusual for him to do inside his house. When I asked him why, he told me that my wife saw up to 6 police cars around the her neighborhood on her way over, some of them out of their vehicles with their RIFLES drawn, so he got his pistol out in case there was anyone crazy in the neighborhood. Then a police car barreled down their street, lights flashing, obviously in a hurry. Any one have any idea what happened? Haven't seen anything in the news.

Called in about 1:40am, Posted about 3 am

"Columbia Heights 39xx Reservoir Blvd/10xx-13xx Circle Terrace 911 Caller saying he's hiding and may have been shot. There was reportedly a F with the M, but unknown where she is and may have been shot per M

Holiday Station on Central now calling saying F in station suffering a gunshot wound to the leg.

Police just starting to arrive on scene. 1st out at Holiday say F may have multiple wounds. Male caller appears not to have been shot. Vehicle they were in was referred to as riddled with bullets."



Otherwise from yesterday afternoon

"3:30p Fridley / Columbia Heights Suicidal M supposedly with a gun. Fled/Found

2p Fridley River Front Park on E River Rd Canoers reportedly found a Dead Body 40yds out in the river south of the boat launch along the bike trail."


"A 59-year-old Fridley man's body was found in the Mississippi River at Riverfront Park in Fridley"

I carry my pistol on my person in my house all the time. But that's just my way of carrying.

So he fired a shot just to flag em down

Fridley Police Chief is pro gun, and so is the Anoka County Sheriff. They actually lowered our permit fees because they were getting a surplus and didn't think it was right to be over charging applicants.

I haven't bagged any tree rats down here in a couple months, but I might have to whack a couple based on what the back yard looks like.
