So it is okay to defy range rules by taking reloads in factory boxes.
Donald Trump got more fat women moving in one day than Michelle Obama did in eight years.

No reloads is a dumb rule with the objective of making money selling their factory ammo. Of course shooting your reloads out of a factory box is OK. In NASCAR vernacular "If you aren't cheating, you aren't trying." ;)

Which is why some people consider watching cars drive around and around and around a "sport."

You can buy a 10 acre lot and dig a pit for less than 150K.

Although the Oakdale short pistol range is not available to the public, the 25 yrd range is, and you can shoot a handgun any distance you want from 5-25 yards.

True. Yet there are added expenses for any business. Permitting, liability insurance, regulatory compliance, labor, etc.
There is half the population that endorse feel good legislation which only increases the cost of business (e.g."ACA"), and limit opportunities. Bottom line is that if you feel ranges charge exorbitant prices, build your own and try to compete.

All of that's true, except that the post and my remark were not to make a commercial venture - PRIVATE range. ;)

So yeah, all that you said doesn't apply to the context of what was said or responded.

Get a bunch of guys together, buy a lot somewhere they allow shooting and put a berm in. You can do it and never have so much as liability insurance (although that would be pretty dumb).
