Devils advocate again - I have sent offers to sellers that say no shipping telling them I will walk them through the shipping process. Twice I got a great deal on a couple guns I had been looking for for a long time. Most that say no ship is just because they never have B4.

I love the ones that are like (I'm making this up but look on AL and you'll see many very similar)

FS/FT (enter any 400-$450.00 pistol here).Comes with one magazine, night sights though they are dim, five garbage holsters, and 100 rounds of garbage ammo.$650.00.Low ball offers will be ignored. Will trade for AR15 or AK47.

!.It's worth 400-$450.00.
2.Why would I want five holsters for anything?
3.Keep the burned out night sights and junk ammo.
4.Even an entry level AR or AK is worth hundreds more than the pistol. You might get lucky and get a mid range SKS.MAYBE.
I live in Bloomington Mn!!!!

I agree with everything the guys are saying ..... they forgot the "creeper rule" I have a couple guys who creeped me out... so I said no deal changed my mind ..... one guy was chain smoking worse than I ever did .... twitching and nervous.... acted like a meth head .... I just kicked him out of the truck and left .... another guy was all covered in bad tattoos ... he acted a little too tough ... I got the creepy feeling he was an ex con ..... so I pulled the pin on that deal ..... I always snap shot photos id and ptc/ptp and then email them to my self where I keep a folder and picture of the gun in question.

that's my 2 pennys worth of info for the day

+1 on the "Creeople" rule.

I'm willing to swap my precious XM855 even up for MK262 77grn or quality 300BLK. Apparently the green tip has magical qualities that make this a fair deal. Act now, unicorn season is right around the corner.

That's why I said I wouldn't ship. I've never shipped a firearm before. And don't know what kind of a hassle it is or isn't. And, my luck with ups, I actually prefer not to ship. I'd rather drive.

Just take your sold firearm to a FFL who does ship and let them do all the wrapping, boxing and paperwork. But, be sure to ask how much it costs ahead of time so you can pass those costs on to your buyer (which should be stated in your ad).

Interesting watching this pistol go from the Used section at Bill's last week for $350 to Armslist with a private party trade valuation of $750 , original street price for this model brand new was between $450 and $500:

I guess the novelty of having a firearm designed for use with a suppressor in a state in which you can't own one makes it a highly valuable collectible. Of course you could always track down the current 09 variation that skips the stupid high sights and costs just $520 brand new : http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/prod ... 9mm+5.2%22.

Armslist is full of optimists. :)

Another gem.. note the backwards orientation of the front sight on this "pro gunsmith" assembled (though he previously mentions "I built this") high end "not a parts gun" rifle made of parts from a variety of manufacturers:

You have got to see this "high capacity" 1911. Try sticking that in your pocket (middle picture) :) http://www.armslist.com/posts/3993307/m ... ghts-lazer
