Convergence?

Any in the crowd attend Convergence? The SF convention held at the Hilton Doubletree, in Bloomington, 4th of July weekend?

I've checked it out. Good for people watching everyone in costume. I know a few people who are really into it. It's worth checking out at least once.

If there will be more than a handful of us attending, I was thinking a meet up at Braemar on Saturday morning might be fun.

Mostly, I want to put up some posters around the con:

Alright, I'm in. I have no costume though. I know the DJs that will be spinning in the ballroom, so it should be fun to get a techno/industrial fix again.

I used to go, but I've got a better offer on the July 4 weekend. You can catch me at Marscon, Manticon, and sometimes Minicon.

What language are you boys speaking?

"Con" = Science Fiction Convention
"Convergence" = Mn's largest SF convention - Hilton Doubletree, 100&494, July 2-5
"Braemar" = SW Metro Public Training Facility - 169&494, open to the public 8:00-2:00 Saturdays

Minicon and Marscon are the other two big SF conventions, in MN, also held at the Doubletree. Manticon is a smaller con held over by the airport.
