Thank you. The iron sights part isn't nearly as difficult as it sounds. It's just putting circles inside circles, and the human brain naturally likes to do that. The key is getting lucky enough to pull the trigger at the right time!

Daughter in law of 17yrs who I always considered gun neutral at best(no guns in own house) but knows I carry and never said anything to me.
Anyways they where visiting for the holidays and asked if I would take her to the gun range as she was interested in maybe getting her carry permit :shock:
After submitting to a hour or 2 about gun safety -grip-stance-sight picture etc etc we headed to the range.
1st up 1911 .22 conversion
2nd Full size M&P 9mm-Sent home with her so could she continue to practice
3rd 1911 45 ACP her favorite
Started at and stayed at 7yds but I don't think to bad for never having had touched a gun before.

I just shot a 97 - 3x indoors at 75 yds. Not bad since I only started shooting 18 months ago.

Damn ERUD, what kind of a deal did you make with ol' Scratch to shoot that well? Just kidding, I know that that kind of shooting comes from ability and tons of effort. Absolutely fabulous shooting.

Let's get this thing going again! I shot my second Palma "450" last Friday at GRRC, same 450-23x as last June! It was even a state record for about a half hour until another guy beat it by 1 x! Kind of funny, no one had ever shot a 450 in MN in 25 years of matches, then 2 people do it on the same day?!? After that, the other guy proceeded to kick my butt the rest of the weekend too... :cry:

Hard not to be happy though!
