Just a shout out to Hazey, quite an accomplishment. Got this in the mail today. the big step is the hardest due to the competition reading like a who's who, and he got it twice in two years. Outstanding!

Here is a lucky group I got at 500 yds (5 shots), 2 weeks ago

I should have packed up and gone home, because the next 2 groups I fired were misserable. I moved the target back to 360, shot this group, and then headed home.

I got this in the mail a couple of days ago from the NRA for the score I shot in the October Palma match ar GRRC:



A Palma match consist of 15 shots for record from 800, 900 and 1000 yard lines with a rifle chambered in either .308 or .223 using sling and iron sights. Possible score is 450.

I've been trying for this for a while, and have come close many times, but never quite made it. Stars aligned that day.

10 rd group. American Eagle .223. I'm kind of stunned.

Thanks to Joe's the Marlin 795 is running well again.

Both shot this morning 10 round groups at 50 yards at OGC.

Got to OGC and the 25 yard range was closed for a handgun class. My boy was ready to leave. Checked out the 50 and we had it to ourselves at first then shared with a few shooters later.

Off the shelf Hornady V-Max 55 gr. did much better than I expected. 3 rounds at 100 yards. I need a better measuring system before I post the size.
