Let's have some fun here. Rather than everyone jumping in and posting pics in other people's threads, how about we start a dedicated thread for bragging? Anything you are pleased with or proud of from any shooting-type experience you might have had. Your best targets, scores, whatever.

I'll start with a couple of highlights from last weekend. First is a pic of my scorecard from one of the 600 yard matches on Sunday in Lacrosse. This is the best 600-yard score I have ever shot, and was also the best match score of the weekend after 480 20-shot matches were fired. There is generally no opportunity to take pictures of actual targets at these matches, as each shot is scored in the pits as it is fired, and when you are done, the next shooter fires on the same target. Just for reference, the X-ring is 6" across on this target, and the 10-ring is 12". My buddy was harassing me for the last month about the 200-15x he shot there a month ago, and it might be awhile before I top this score, so I took a pic of the card:

Next is my plot sheet from the 900-yard stage from Monday's 4-man Palma team match at Winnequah Gun Club in Lodi, WI. I am a member of the US National Rifle Team developmental program, so at larger regional and national level events, there is always someone plotting my targets to put in my file for future reference. When it's time to make team selections for major matches, one of the main criteria is a shooter's plots from previous matches. What they look for is tight elevation, centered on the x. For team tryouts, shooters lose points for any shot above or below the X-ring. How many points lost depends on how far high or low it is. The whole 15-shot group was about 7" tall. Since this was a team match, I had a coach that was making wind calls and was responsible for keeping me centered up left-to-right. It was an extremely windy day, and the coach did an outstanding job to only lose the 2 9's on shots 5 and 7. I was very happy with this:

This picture from 2011 always brings a smile to my face.

Here is one target that I am pretty proud of. It was my very first "clean" target being a 200 with 8x's. I shot it at 50 yards with an Izhmash CM-2 and CCI Standard Velocity on May 26th, 2010. Since then I have shot many more clean targets and even a couple clean matches but this is the one that started it.

Hazey,
I think I was pulling your target when you shot your first clean 300 yard target up at Duluth a few years ago. You were so happy that day, I think I saw the corner of your mouth twitch upward, and your eyes squint slightly! Never seen you so emotional before or since!

Beautiful day for an afternoon at the range!
As a bonus, the man who started Caribou Gun Club, Earl Voss, stopped by the rifle range and I got to hear the story of how in 1953 he "retired" from farming at the age of 27 (polio), and then built a clays, trap and rifle range on his land.

I shot 3 groups on the steel gong today. Here's the worst one (8 shots):

Caribou is closed for the month of July, so I'm gonna wait a week or 2 before posting another group. You know, draw it out, and pad my post count while I'm at it 8-)

Here are the other 2 groups I shot back at the end of June, before Caribou closed for the month. 2 more weeks until I'm back there again *sigh*

These were all at 500 yds, shooting factory 270 Win.

I had a little bit of time, so I put out a target at 180 yards, and loaded up 10 rounds of .308.

I dialed in .5 mils up on my scope per my ballistic app, and shot a 5 round group with a nice .362 MOA!

It was still a little high for POI, so I dialed it back down .3 mils and I hit just about dead on POA with a 5 round group measuring .383 MOA!

Anyways... I was very happy with my rifle, and my... performance today so I thought I'd share a target pic.
