I'm confused by this; how would a laser sight help someone who cannot see the dot it makes on the intended target? Am I misunderstanding terminology here? What does "totally blind" mean in a legal sense?

"Assisted Hunt", probably meaning the blind person gets directed where to point the gun and the laser helps the assistant know where the gun is pointed.

Doesn't take much to be "legally blind"

True. However, the MnDNR reg states "totally blind". There is a difference.

On item 2, It is legal to have a bayonet on a rifle. Is his question while hunting? Or just in general?

Some surplus military rifles are designed to be fired with bayonet affixed, and are more accurate .. they say.. with the pigsticker on there.

According to the laws I found and posted. Unless someone can show otherwise or get a conservation officer to say otherwise.
