What did everyone think of the BIG gun show?

Just curious to what others thought as I haven't been to a show in awhile.

If your talking MWCA, the Isles were too narrow! if somebody stops to gawk at something, you can't get by!

Found a decent deal on a lower and completed my pre-arranged transaction on some .30-40 Krag ammo, other than that most stuff was overpriced or junk or both. A few pieces of interest to look at but nothing that I absolutely had to have. A couple items I might have jumped on if I did not already have them in my collection. A Drilling at 2k that was probably the most tempting for me.

Isles were too wide!!!, encouraged customers to stroll instead of BUY.
Bought way more stuff then I planned on. Wish I had more cash available, as I left alot of deals behind....dang taxes

Seems like there were a LOT more people than in years past. I got there at 9, the line was well out the door, and aisles seemed narrow, but more full tables.

Are they doing pat downs or anything, or just the usual "No Guns" signs?

I went sat and it looked like a really good turn out. Lots of people made the isles a little hard to get down but I was not in a hurry, lots to look at lots of AR parts, made a few good purchases parking was a little tougher to find, they were making sure people coming in with guns had them checked and the actions secured but a good show.

As with all the shows, some stuff was way over priced, some normal, and some decent deals. i did see a lot of re-manufactured ammo going for much higher prices than other dealers were selling new factory ammo for. I doubt if they sold much......

The title says "Collectors" is this mainly older guns or a standard type gun show?

Does someone usually have primers at a good price at these shows?

It looked like a mix of old and new stuff. saw some stacks of Fed primers for about what Runnings asks for them.
Guns are not the problem, people are the problem. And short of lobotomizig everyone who has a bad thought they will continue to be for the forseeable future.

I went yesterday and it seemed to be a little better than normal but then there were some things I was interested in and at prices that were reasonable. Made offers and walked out with a couple items. That makes for a good show compared to others shows I've been to which had little I was interested in and/or it was priced more than I wished to afford.

To the above poster, the show is a "normal" show with a variety of guns and items available. I wish there were less of the things I was not interested in and more of what I am interested in but that is life.
