Since .50 is the caliber limit before NFA rules kick in and since there's nothing people won't build as a one-off, I'm surprised no one's built a .50 "long rod" round. Say, a 1600 gr bullet with 30,000 ft-lbs muzzle energy, to be shot out of a seven-foot long barrel.
