Went to search for something on Amazon, today, and was redirected to a "pick your charity" page:

http://smile.amazon.com/

The suggested charities were exactly what you'd expect. But the page allowed me to search for my own charity.

Entering "NRA" gave me a list including the NRA Freedom Action Foundation:

NRA Freedom Action Foundation
Location: Fairfax, VA | Year Founded: 2008
To educate Americans with respect to their individual rights as citizens, with particular emphasis on the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
Categories: Alliance/Advocacy Organizations
Programs: Nonpartisan voter research, education, outreach, and registration
Regions Served: Throughout the United States

Seems like a good place for my charity dollars to go.

Heard about this a while back. It is not supported on their app and you have to go through that specific site every time - they are all about charity but yet make it inconvenient for people to use...

I've been using the Amazon Smile program for a while. My charity is St Jude's Children's Hospital. I should take another look, but St. Jude's is a good one.

Unfortunately I rarely remember to go through the smile page so my contributions are minimal.

Necro-thread revival... I just received an update from Amazon:

This is the email I received. It specifically says Minnesota Gun Owners Support Fund. Linksep's post refers to "Gun Owners Foundation". Numbers are significantly different.

"This is your quarterly AmazonSmile donation notification. Your charity, Minnesota Gun Owners Support Fund, recently received a quarterly donation of $414.50 thanks to customers shopping at smile.amazon.com.

To date, AmazonSmile has donated a total of:

$1,619.70 to Minnesota Gun Owners Support Fund"

Minnesota Gun Owners Support Fund is our affiliated 501c3 - that's definitely us.

And thank you!
