A while back I heard rumors there was a gun range going into the former Abdullah Candy factory.
Apparently some substance to them.
It will be interesting to see how it goes.
Are the principals known?

I've been to their store once, a mile or two west of this new range location.

No mention of a walk in option on their website, just memberships. Didn't Stock and Barrel try that at first too?

About one out of four proposed ranges actually open their doors. In most cases because they underestimate construction and HVAC costs and overestimate membership numbers.

I thought the 15k was a joke until I read the website. I wonder how many of those memberships they will sell. I wonder how many of any level memberships they'll sell. Sheesh....

Yes, Stock and Barrel did that at first.

Now, it is actually reasonable to have a membership.

I tried their range yesterday and liked it a lot - $20 walk in. Friendly people, fantastic air clearing, and a nice retail area. Sound control in the range was the only down-side I noticed.

Overall, I highly enjoyed my weekday visit - weekends might be more of a zoo. I hope they succeed.

I've shot a couple times at Modern Sportsman in Burnsville. They do sell memberships, but also have shooting open to the public too. My wife and I just took our Concealed Carry class over there Saturday, and I thought the instructor did a very good job. The range is very nice, and well kept. The keyboard for setting and retrieving targets works flawlessly. It's much better than the equipment at the Burnsville Pistol Range which is literally a stone's throw away. Their showroom is really nice with a good variety of guns and accessories to choose from.

Thanks for the review. Been meaning to go try it but haven’t gotten it done yet.

Has anyone tried the live fire virtual range option here? I would be interested to hear your thoughts if so.
