I wonder what would happen if the bullet was "rifled" and shot through a smooth bore. Shotgun slugs are rifled but I don't know if they spin when shot through a smoothbore.

I think the Sig P365 looks very interesting.
Because I care, I carry.

The .224 Valkyrie dominated range day. It looks like this is going to be a huge hit since it has so many companies jumping on board right away.

If 224 is the big news then the show is a bust. It might be a OK round but certainly not enough to support the entire market for a year.

The rep in the video said the straight grooves have been used in the past to help clean "musket loaders".

That was more painful to watch as the Chevy "technology and stuff" guy.

So technology from the 1700s then?

The nerf can hit a receiver in the numbers at 1200 yards. I think it is called the nerf Grendel or something.

I can confirm that the detachable mag pump shotguns (Mossberg and Remington) can pinch your hand between the mag and pump...leading to short stroking.
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

Design deficiency or more training issue? I would imagine if the forearm is held further forward this does not occur?

Isn’t the Remington 870 being offered in semi auto with detachable mag, too. I thought I saw a video showing a price less than $1000. It’s the tactical version with pistol grip. Should compete with the Benelli M4 at 2X the price.

It's possible Remington might offer a Versa Max, V3, or 1100 in a tactical version with a DBM, but given that the 870 moniker has always been synonymous with pump actions, I doubt they would call a semi-auto an 870.

870 is still a pump but with a DBM

This is the video (less than a minute). My bad. Thought the tactical was semi auto.
