longest indoor rifle range - metro

Postby yukonjasper on Fri Feb 09, 2018 2:25 pm

Tapping into the collective wisdom of the members here. Am I realistically going to find a Metro area range with rifle bays over 50yds?

I'm in Eagan and trying to find a spot to dial in the new Grendel so I don't have to wait until spring to shoot outdoors.

Thank you for your thoughts.

BPR at something like 46 yards is the longest I know of indoors.

Bills in Circle Pines has 50yd. That's longest I know of. Why wait till spring to shoot outdoors?

Ya'll are tougher (and/or more dedicated) than me.

I'm content to shoot at indoor ranges or dry fire at home until it's at least in the 30's

Unless those ranges have lighting, I likely won't work. The time I have for sighting in is after work so no daylight. Indoor for lighting not necessarily heat.

Congrats on getting out.
