I am picking 3 as the number of months before members of the NRA leadership come under assault from accusations of sexual harassment, infidelity, economic in propriety etc. What is your guess? Higher or lower?

Comparing just Hollywood elite to NRA leadership, I think it's a difference in base. I don't want to say that gun owners don't care about sexual assault and misconduct... so I'll say that people who love celebrities REALLY have a lot of guilt about privilege and oppression (in this conversation: male privilege and sexism).

The statistics about sexual assault and rape make it crystal clear that there is a problem in this country, and if more people (including more gun owners) prioritized real change, we would be a much healthier nation, IMO. But feeling guilty about it, and letting people in power manipulate that guilt does pissall.

Since the Parkland, FL event I've boosted my donations to the NRA and two MN pro-2A gun groups.

I'm worried that the national NRA / ILA organization will buckle out of fear from exactly the kind of mudslinging, below-the-belt attack that the author of this thread is concerned about. I think that defending our 2nd Amendment right is a two-way street and providing feedback and support for what the NRA is doing is both critical and necessary. Particularly if they (we) hope to be successful in defending this important freedom.

I'd like to thank everyone who has called, written or appeared before our MN legislature now and in the past. The far left wants to ban everything and private gun ownership is just another bite in the left-wing, ban everything, game of pac-man they have been playing for the past 20 years.

I am pretty sure the accusers are already in the NRA sights. I am just guessing that most of the NRA leadership is probably pretty clean.
