Craigslist prohibits selling gun related items

Just notified that my add selling brass casings was removed.

Here is a partial list of goods, services, and content prohibited on craigslist:

weapons; firearms/guns and components; BB/pellet, stun, and spear guns; etc
ammunition, clips, cartridges, reloading materials, gunpowder, fireworks, explosives
offers, solicitation, or facilitation of illegal prostitution and/or sex trafficking
exploitation or endangerment of minors; child pornography
recalled items; hazardous materials; body parts/fluids; unsanitized bedding/clothing
prescription drugs, medical devices; controlled substances and related items
alcohol or tobacco; unpackaged or adulterated food or cosmetics

Interesting, I have seen brass out there many times and my listing was there for over a month.

Enforcement of those rules is spotty at best. People sell rare craft beers on there all the time.

My impression is that enforcement happens via users flagging posts, and some regions/cities/CL sections have more assertive "nannies" than others. Also the nannies' knowledge of what is being sold makes a difference. A post selling "DPMS lower parts and accessories" stayed until it sold...

Have sold reloader led lights there for years and renewing and reposting but last month I got the notice too. Just renewed at that time and it's still up.
