Looking for instructor Recommendation

Postby inspyrd on Mon Jan 19, 2009 3:44 pm

I received my Permit to Carry a little over a year ago and am now looking to expand on my training. I am currently looking at taking the Intermediate and Advanced Handgun courses offered by Bill's, but do not want to overlook any similar training options in the Twin Cities area.

I would appreciate any and all recommendations.

Thanks,
Jeff

Simple question, simple answer.

DonL on the forum here is certainly one of the best advanced local instructors.

Bill's offers advanced training. these are usually taught by Nate Warren and are very well done.

Another top-notch local instructor is Grey "Sully" Sulivan http://www.slr15.com. I haven't had a chance yet to take on of his classes, but all the local guys on AR15.com recommend Sully first and foremost. But then again, it depends on what kind of training you are looking for.
