Is Stack On going under?

Postby Holland&Holland on Wed Jan 16, 2019 1:54 pm

Anybody heard any industry news on Stack On?

Been trying to reach their customer service for a couple weeks now with no success either via phone or email. Just wanted to order more of their scope standoffs which they used to carry on their sight as an accessory.

Did they have good customer service before?

They are just little plastic peices that extend the barrel rest out so your scope is dot resting against the safe wall.

I spent sometime searching for these on the web, and this was the only thing I found on the website. I was unable to find the stand offs on the Stack-on website at all. Bummer they are unresponsive.

It’s just odd. Always thought of them as the Walmart of the gun safe world.

Yep, never bought anything from them because of that.

I think I have seen those at Cabelas or Fleet Farm.

I have a couple in my Stack-on cabinet.

i also have a couple of these:

https://www.cabelas.com/product/shooting/gun-storage/gun-safe-accessories/pc/104792580/c/104730480/sc/472735080/lockdown-magnetic-barrel-rest/1256673.uts?slotId=7

I position them so the scope is cradled in them. They are great for shorter firearms that might not hit the predrilled positions in the cabinet.

Leaning the gun against the scope just feels wrong to me.

They are pretty much vertical so no real force against the scope. All the weight is on the butt. I am not sure what issue would be caused by it. Works great for my limited space.

Just another in the never-ending list of reasons to not waste time on guns with scopes.
