Affix bayonets!!! Oh wait those were only safe 150 years ago too.

I would suggest to those who wish to return the 2A to a 100 years ago should also fight to return the 1A to 100 years ago also. You want freedom of the press? Get the old lead type out. Freedom of speech via the Internet? Nope. Want to form a new religion? Only old ones are allowed. Etc..

It might be otherwise amusing- the hypocrisy of the notion that the protections of the 2nd Amendment apply only to the technology of the day;while the rest of the Bill of Rights is deemed relevant to modern times.

You're not wrong but the problem is, they don't care about right or wrong.

True, probably shouldn’t give them ideas.

Advances in technology and freedoms guaranteed by the constitution are very different things. One changes regularly, the other is not supposed to.

Bear in mind that one of the PM trolls lurks here regularly - he's fond of using screenshots from this forum in their promotional materials.

He's not here under his real name. But he's here. Instead of being a lurker Jeff - why not come out and post under your real name? I mean, if your cause is so just and all...

If Jeffy doesn't read it here, he'll just keep making it up.

Even when he does, he still makes it up as he goes.

I can't wait to see the "research" he's been doing on guns in Minnesota for the last year.
