Thanks guys, appreciate the support. This situation is over and done with and we are moving on with our lives, but we won’t forget it. If this story convinces anyone to take their business somewhere else, I’ll feel like I’ve accomplished some small thing.

Chan is closest range for me but won't be stopping on the way to others.

Did a day at Sealed Mindset shortly after they opened. Great new everything. Awesome close quarter drills firing into wall while being close enough to touch like against an attacker.

Felt this post deserved a reply of support.

I had some dealings with some of the Chanhassen personnel back when they worked at Arnzen Arms. Maybe Stock & Barrel's "success" has gone to their heads? I don't know, but your post is succinct, clear and "just the facts". And it leaves little doubt in my mind that they blew it big time. The Eagan location wasn't going to be my first choice anyway, but now it has moved to the back end of the list... So sorry that this happened to you and particularly your wife.

Sorry about your experience. I have know idea who you are, but also have no reason to doubt your post. I was originally very excited to hear they were opening the Chanhassen range because I don’t have any other options in my corner of the metro. But from the word go something just hasn’t felt right about the organization... maybe it was the rapid closing of their north location or the fact that the couple of times I stopped in in the last 6 to 9 months they are so willing to cut the initiation fees in 1/2. I really want to like the place, but it just has never felt “right”. I guess the point of my story is that you experience is making me feel like my gut was telling me something all along. Hopefully your wife has better luck coming her way and hopefully S & B can get things figured out before it costs them even more.

Eric, So sorry to hear - I remember a mentor of mine saying, "Never take money out of someone's pocket!"

If you got the job offer in writing, perhaps you have a case in small claims court. If not, that was an expensive lesson to always get the new job in writing before you turn in notice at the existing place. If the new job won't put the offer in writing, you don't have a choice to make - stay put.

What is it about gun range owners that makes them in to flame buttholes. I know someone that had a very similar experience with Osseo.

Isn't this the place with an outrageous membership fee? As already mentioned, a business run this poorly will not last long. I am so sorry to hear about this, I hope you guys recover quickly.

I can't fathom that they had the balls to charge you for the drug test. Jeez, that's lower and worm crap. So sorry for her/your misfortune. I'll never set foot in their shop.
