PTC application page 2 question

Postby Coldhead on Sat Mar 16, 2019 12:19 am

I completed the PTC course tonight and am filling out the application. I have a question I can't find the answer to:

On the Minnesota Uniform Firearm Application - Permit to Carry form, do I complete the Agency Name, Agency Address, and Agency Contact boxes or leave these blank? If I fill them out (Hennepin Country) would Agency be "Hennepin County Sheriff's Office", then address and current elected Sheriff? Or is there some other agency/contact person?

Thanks all!

I never have that I remember.

Since you have to be there and sign the form in person just ask.

Thanks! Dropping off the application tomorrow or Tuesday! Anyone know how quick new PTCs are getting processed? Is it the full 30 days for new permits?

I am in Todd county and the employee said if this was the first time I applied it would take longer, no idea why. My time was 3 days! :D

Here is a thread on permit times.

I sent off my Arizona Permit Paperwork last Monday. The paperwork says 6-8 weeks. I'm hoping to get it before the last week in April, so my planned trip, won't have me passing through a few states carrying illegally. Once I get it, it will have me covered in all the states I travel thru, going to 50 BMG Matches, except Illinois. At least I'll only be passing through there once this year, if my plans don't change.

Thanks Fuzzy, the only stop I'll be making in IL is possibly a break so I can Walk OldmanFCSA. He gets grumpy after about 4 hours without me walking him.

Thanks for all the input. Dropped off my application on Tuesday.

FYI the gun permit office at City Hall has moved across the foyer to "room 22". Happened some time in the past 5 months.

I was told I'd get the permit in 3 - 4 weeks.

Wow, I received my Arizona Permit today. 2 Weeks from the day I placed my application in the mail.

That's what I call Great Service. Now, I'll be legal in the states I will be visiting for our 50 BMG Matches this year.

Thanks to wasfuzz aka: Fuzzy, his information and assistance, made the process simple, and fast.

Thank you "Fuzzy"
