Provenance is only of significant value if the person was famous, or to a relative.

A SAA that has provenance to Fred’s gun store in Baltimore in 1901 is no more valuable than any other 1st gen SAA. One that was sold to Buffalo Bill Cody is worth hundreds of thousands...

I mean, there’s a sucker born every minute - but I sure as hell wouldn’t pay anywhere near $500 for a G19 Gen 3.
