I’ve always liked the look but, heard they were quite clunky.

A buddy of mine had one. As I recall it was a typical Ruger, clunky, reliable and probably the worst trigger I've ever felt on a modern pistol.

My son has had one forever, his is stainless, has the little lanyard loop. Heavy, ugly, lousy trigger and 100% reliable.
