Question about expanded background checks

Has anyone ever actually said how they would monitor private sales to enforce an expanded background check law? If it has been discussed, please point me in the right direction. Good people would comply, just because, but dirt bags will still sell without any worry? I'm having a hard time understanding how they would get compliance to this rule.

Obama's DOJ put in writing that they were unenforceable without firearms registration.

Yup. Will not take much for the left and the media's dialogue to change to the "gun registration loop hole". Most American's believe we already have gun registration anyway and will not understand why it is a big issue. Once that happens, the end of the 2nd amendment is near. We would soon be like many European nations

Thanks. I kind of figured that registration would have to be part of the process. This is indeed a very slippery slope.

It'll be an add on to a crime at first - meaning, they pull you over for something and there's a search or disclosure of a gun, or a CO stops you while hunting. If you're in possession of a firearm not traceable to a 4473, you'll need to legally prove you owned it before the enactment date of the UBC's. They can ticket you, confiscate the gun...potentially arrest you, since most of the penalties proposed are felony level...and you'll be sunk until you can prove your innocence.

It turns the presumption of innocence on it's head because after UBCs go into effect, merely possession of a firearm would be considered a crime.
