A Reddit post originally linked to from Quorum.com, pointing out that at least as practiced in Colorado, Red Flag laws appear to be an unconstitutional hybrid of civil and criminal law, in which the accused gun owner faces the worst of both worlds legally:

Of course it is. Infringement is infringement. Of course some can justify it in their mind.
