Looks legit ...appears affiliated with that gun rights advocate of renown, Gabby Gifford

Hey ya'll,

We're a fairly new organization started in 2018. We're a group of gun owners who appreciate the common sense gun laws that have been passed by the House here in MN. Some of those being Universal Background Checks, Red Flag Laws, and Safe Storage Laws (especially these right now during quarantine). We are trying to be more active this summer with some gun lock giveaways and education events. Polls show that nearly 70% of all gun owners regardless of political party lines support these laws and we're doing our best to lobby, recruit, and educate until these bills are passed through the Senate too. I don't want to bicker too much in this thread so please if you disagree with what we stand for just leave it alone and simply don't sign up!

You can learn more information about our group by viewing the brochure here & Minnesota's scorecard. We have a lot of work to do to expand membership and pass meaningful legislation through the Minnesota Senate. If you have friends and family that might also be interested please have them fill out a form here so I can get in touch!

Their brochure

According to their propaganda, there's probably a lotof them among our friends:
Minnesota Gun Owners for Safety includes hunters, sport shooters, collectors, and other gun owners who support commonsense gun laws.

Anyone who can utter the phrase "common sense" in 2020 in a serious manner really should be ignored.

I take the phrase as a red flag.

This group was created by the anti-gun Giffords organization - they are gun owners who are in support of whatever gun control measures Giffords put in front of them. They had a big kickoff event last year, testified before the legislature, and then have mostly disappeared.

I imagine they'll resurface in 2021's legislative session. It's total astroturf, organized and funded by Giffords.
