Samginko, any updates on this? Did you make this transaction, and did it work out?

I don't know if this dude is a scammer, but he certainly is irritating. Interested in the outcome either way.

"Irritating" might be one way of putting it...

'repetitive', and 'consistent' could also apply.... assuming this is the same 'stonegraham', as well as the 'stonegraham' that was booted off a long range hunting forum a few days ago..shortly after joining....
Then again, if Joe biden can get 99% of late ballots in a given state, anything is possible, and there may multiple 'stonegraham' posters who registered on numerous shooting forums, all within a day or two of this one....making similar posts, and comments to those seen hereabouts :cogitating:

Nothing new to report. I received timestamp when I asked for it.

Case closed.

Franken charger. $200 sounds about right (maybe even high) for that as I suspect the pool of people interested is pretty slim. If he had the original stock to go with it could probably fetch more.

Similar story - about a month ago friend that lives in St Louis called me because he found a Polaris ATV for sale, on Craig's list, in Cottage Grove at a ridiculous low price and wanted me to check it out. There was a complete storyline about how the poor widow's husband died of COVID-19 and needed to sell ASAP. The scammers had already created a bill of sale, setup an 'escrow' account to deposit his money and even had letters from the trucking company that would deliver the ATV to him in Missouri. They listed the owner's home with a real address and also a trucking business in Cottage Grove. In addition they setup a phony Facebook page and web site for the trucking company. The trucking company name they used was legit - but it hauls grain, not cargo. All the phone numbers they provided - went to them. I found the actual trucking company - one call to the real number and they had no idea about shipping any ATV.

I told him to tell them to let me drive on by that day and I would take it out for a test drive ---- never heard from them again.

It's a scam!

Stonegraham is a scammer. He is using the photoshop to replicate timestamps. Below is the AccurateShooter link and the timestamp sent to me.

That doesn't necessarily mean a ton. My main ISP is a AT&T hotspot and for some reason AT&T outbound Internet connections are routed through the cell network down to their datacenter in Chicago. So any time a web site tries to identify my location (xxx is your nearest store) they think I'm located SW of Chicago.

That being said, this guy is clearly up to something and should be kept at arms length.
