Best Cold Bluing Solution?

I'm doing a build on a FAL and have assembled about 99% of the parts needed. I plan on giving all parts an overnight bath in Brownells Rust Release (knowing it'll strip just about everything. Then I'll 'brake dust clean' everything, warm it up in the oven around 150, then cold blue it all. I've done this before with levers and shotguns with varied results. So my question is this- Which is the best bluing material? Frontier/Van's? Brownell's Oxpho? Others? (the Oxpho on my last shotgun came out dark grey) Thanks,

I've used BirchwoodCasey's SUPER BLUE.

If you don't shine the surface smooth before, the surface will come out BLACK.

If you shine it smooth, the bluing will be spotty.

YMMV.
