Even though we aren't doing turkey, I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

The 18 pound brisket is going to be ready to pull off the smoker at about 1:00-1:30 for a rest and then about 2:30 carve it up. Develed eggs, broccoli salad, crab salad, au-grautin potatoes and other goodies.

Will be dinner #2 for us (lucky). We hosted the wife's family last Saturday. Today I'd turkey #2 with my 91 year old mother.

Count your blessings and give thanks for all the wonderful things in your life.

Enjoy the day.

Many, many blessings to be thankful for, including my brother who now lives with me and so I have someone to share holidays with five years after my wife's death.
