anyone know how long you can leave mags loaded before the springs are affected?

It’s been my understanding that barring rust or physical degradation of springs, it’s the use cycles that wear them out.

I’ve shot some pistol magazines where the returning vet left them loaded since returning and fired them off just fine 70-some years later.

Used several M1carbine mags loaded into mags in the 50's that all worked fine in late 70's

Probably about as long as you can leave the springs of your car or pickup loaded before they are affected?

I have had two instances of problems, one with a CZ70 police pistol. the last round would not feed right and when I replaced with new Wolff springs all was fine. I am sure the pistol was fully loaded it's entire life before being exported to the US. I had a similar issue with a couple M1 Carbine magazines and new springs fixed those as well.
