looking for an idea what I have and value

Got this ammo belt in a trade and wondering what it is and what it might be worth. Just thought it was kind of cool.

It kinda looks like .308, but the neck looks a bit small? It's so hard to judge size from a photo with no reference.

But would definitely like to see more info on this!

Disintegrating linked 5.56?

Ie SAW ammo linked with empty brass?

Not cash wise worth a lot… just neat.

FC90 isn't anything special. Once fired it's maybe worth 20-50¢ a case. Machine-gun links are worth around $10-$15 a bag of 100.

What you have is probably worth more as a display than anything else.

Not that it matters but is it 90 or 06? Thought it was cool no matter what and wondering what used 308 in belts.

Looks like 2006 to me as well.

Federal cartridge made .308.

Brass value.

The M240 FN MAG is current US gun.

Also used in the M60 machine gun and others.

The disintegrating links are current pattern for medium machine guns.

Not worth much cash wise, but neat.
