Hennepin County permit timing

So my permit expired in April and I didn't notice because I was dealing with my wife being in the hospital and ultimately, passing away.

So I turned in my application in Spring Park as a new permit on 8/22/23. To my surprise, I got my permit in the mail today, exactly 2 weeks to the day with a holiday thrown in. To say I was surprised is an understatement. So if anyone was wondering about the length of time in Hennepin County, now you know...

I am now back in the good graces of the State of MN.

My renewal in Hennpein county I did about a month ago was back in under two weeks. Imagine some might take longer than other still though. But for the general law abiding populace seems they are turning them around pretty quick.

It's been 30 days since my renewal was submitted.

36 days including the Labor Day holiday for this out of state renewal.

No, my last one was from Hennepin and it took just over two weeks.

This current renewal was from Carver county as it was much closer to the condo up there.

A very friendly and helpful office for sure.
